Washington, DC, November 18, 2016 – Greenberg Quinlan Rosner, one of the world’s leading opinion research and strategic consulting firms, is pleased to announce the promotions of Brian Paler and Peter McLeod to Vice President.
Brian Paler joined the firm in 2011 and has conducted hundreds of surveys and focus groups in more than a dozen countries throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia, and has helped guide several global political leaders to victory for national office. Paler specializes in translating strategic research into winning messages, targeting, ad scripts, speeches, and day-to-day campaign decisions. He has taught research methodology around the world; his surveys have been highly accurate in some of the most difficult places on earth to do opinion research, including Iraq, Yemen, and sub-Saharan Africa. Beyond campaigns, Paler’s expertise and passion is in finding data-based solutions for challenges associated with democratic development, conflict resolution, policy formation, and rebranding. He has spoken at conferences on the role of “Big Data” in international research and on overcoming growing voter cynicism toward politics and political leaders.

Peter McLeod joined GQR’s London office in 2013, bringing deep expertise in corporate reputation, brand, and issues research. Since then, McLeod has helped the firm and its London office build a vibrant UK and European practice, primarily focused on advising leading global companies. McLeod has been instrumental to GQR's strategic research on behalf of one of the world’s leading management consulting firms, and in helping to develop a new brand for one of the world’s leading risk advisory companies, along with numerous other corporate clients. At the same time, McLeod has contributed to GQR's campaign advisory work for political candidates and advocacy organizations, including playing a significant role in the UK general election campaign of 2015, and the firm’s work for NGOs such as Save the Children and Friends of the Earth. McLeod will now help lead GQR’s UK and European operations.
