Greenberg Quinlan Rosner congratulates Percy Fernandez, who was re-elected as mayor of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, with nearly 44 percent of the vote, according to preliminary results.  Fernandez won a competitive 6-way election by emphasizing the scores of public works that he brought to the city during his last term and committing to a new security plan for residents of the city.  Despite being a lightning rod for attacks from opponents and from the active campaigning of Bolivia’s president Evo Morales in the final weeks of the campaign, Fernandez was able to gain a robust victory that guarantees the continuation of his transformative vision for Santa Cruz.

Greenberg Quinlan Rosner provided qualitative and quantitative research, developed the campaign strategy, and had a full-time presence on the ground during the campaign.  The project was led by vice-presidents Ana Iparraguirre and Jessica Reis, and assisted by Flavia Colangelo, Jason Lunser, and Lester Polchlopek.
