Veteran political strategist Lindsey Reynolds is known in political circles for her shrewd judgment and her ability to get things done. Reynolds joined GQR as Chief Operating Officer in 2017, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in political and campaign management at the national, state, and local level.

Before joining GQR, Reynolds was the COO at the Democratic National Committee, where she was responsible for overseeing day-to-day functions and worked with the CEO to execute the long-term strategy of the Party. Previously, Reynolds served as Director of the Office of the Secretary.

As Executive Director of Democrats Abroad, the official arm of the Democratic Party for Americans living outside of the United States, she oversaw operations for the global organization and managed the worldwide Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts. Notably, Reynolds ran the first international coordinated campaign effort in 2008.

Before working in Washington, D.C., Reynolds was an independent consultant offering campaign strategy and fundraising expertise to a diverse group of clients in Virginia, DC and Maryland.

Reynolds served as the Executive Director of the Virginia State Democratic Party, where she oversaw the day-to-day operations; managed overall political program; and lobbied members of the Virginia General Assembly on various issues such as election law, 527 organizations and regulations, education funding, reproductive choice issues and health care. Reynolds also oversaw the development of one of the largest centralized voter file systems in the country; increased participation and revenue by 78% in four years; and developed one of the largest state party candidate and party ID collections in the U.S.

Early in her career, she served as Director of Finance for the Virginia Joint Democratic Caucus. She was a legislative-aid to State Senator Stanley Walker (D-VA) and Deputy Campaign Manager for his reelection campaign.

Reynolds grew up in Virginia and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Virginia Wesleyan University. She lives with her husband and son in Shady Side, MD, where they enjoy the Chesapeake Bay and traveling.
