Voters would prefer a Labour-Liberal Democrat coalition over Labour-SNP

Thursday, November 21st, 2019

GQR’s new poll of Great Britain shows that all possible coalition combinations are unpopular with the general public, with all receiving a net negative approval rating. A coalition between the Conservatives and the Brexit Party is the least unpopular coalition combination, and a Labour-SNP coalition the most unpopular option.

The research also explores attitudes towards the main party leaders, as well as eroding support for Johnsons’ Brexit deal. The poll indicates a Conservative lead of 14 points over Labour.
