Jim Kenney – Mayor of Philadelphia
- Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research congratulates Jim Kenney on his resounding victory in last night’s mayoral election in Philadelphia. Kenney defeated Melissa Murray Bailey with 85 percent of the vote. Kenney joins New York Mayor Bill De Blasio and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel as GQR clients who have won mayoralties in 3 of America’s 5 largest cities. This project was led by Anna Greenberg, Ethan Smith and Kelly Higgins.

Kevin Dougherty – Pennsylvania Supreme Court
- GQR also congratulates Kevin Dougherty on his historic win in last night’s election for one of three seats on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Dougherty led the field despite being singled out among the Democratic ticket for defeat by a Koch Brothers-funded super PAC. This project was led by Anna Greenberg, Missy Egelsky and Ethan Smith. Ken Snyder from Snyder Pickerill joined GQR as the media consultant on both the Dougherty and Kenney races.

Rich Fitzgerald – Second Term as Allegheny County Executive
- Finally, GQR congratulates Rich Fitzgerald on his win for a second term as Allegheny County Executive. Fitzgerald joins Governor Tom Wolf and Mayor Jim Kenney as the third GQR client elected to an executive position in Pennsylvania.

Assembly Democrats in New Jersey
- Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research congratulates the Assembly Democrats in New Jersey for some impressive victories in the races for state assembly last night. Democrats picked up at least 3 seats, leading to the largest majority in 36 years.
The biggest upset came in district 11 where two Republican incumbents fell in a district their party has held since 1991. In the south Vince Mazzeo retained his seat despite Republicans spending heavily to defeat him and Tim Eustace and Joe Lagana held on easily in North Jersey. Votes are still being counted in one district, but for now Democrats hold a 51 to 28 advantage in the state assembly. GQRR was proud to be a part of the effort and our work was led by Al Quinlan, Ethan Smith, Mallory Newall, and Kelly Higgins.

- Greenberg Quinlan Rosner congratulates Honest Elections Seattle on an overwhelming victory for campaign finance reform in Seattle. With big money interests dominating national and local campaigns, Seattle voters resoundingly chose to give ordinary people a stronger voice in the political process by passing a first-of-its-kind ballot initiative. The GQR team, led by Anna Greenberg and Ben Winston, is proud to support a strong local grassroots campaign that helped Initiative 122 garner 60 percent of the vote.
