GQR is excited to announce new growth in its communications and campaign consulting services with the addition of Kelsey Suter and Jonathan Moakes as Vice Presidents.
For over three decades, GQR has helped US and global companies, NGOs, and political leaders by providing accurate, penetrating opinion research and helping them to translate it into action. With the addition of Suter and Moakes, GQR expands its capabilities to provide public relations and campaign consulting services such as message and speech development, media relations, thought leadership, campaign planning, branding and reputation management, voter mobilization, and digital advice.
Kelsey Suter is returning to GQR as a Vice President after an earlier stint with the firm from 2012-2016. She previously worked at APCO Worldwide, a leading global public affairs and strategic communications consultancy. Kelsey is a data-driven communicator with a global background who has advised sitting prime ministers and foreign governments, embassies, democracy-building NGOs, and multinational corporations. Her work has helped clients secure top-tier media placements, bring awareness to important issues, improve public perceptions, and win elections.
Jonathan Moakes joins GQR’s London office this month after working as both the Chief Executive and Chief Strategist for the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition in South Africa. Jonathan is a multi-skilled organizational leader and an expert in strategy, communications, fundraising, voter mobilization, and campaign management. He has delivered successful election results for the DA in South Africa, running its past four election campaigns and has consulted to political parties and organizations in Brazil, Botswana, Ukraine, the Philippines, and Zanzibar.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kelsey and Jonathan to these leadership positions in our firm,” says GQR Managing Partner Jeremy Rosner. “We are confident that their combined years of experience working on progressive causes, cutting-edge communications campaigns, analytical techniques, and global clients will enable them to grow new business and play strong leadership roles within our firm. All this means additional capabilities, reach, and impact for our clients.”
