The Libby Mitchell Campaign for Governor announced poll numbers yesterday from research conducted by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner. The results show Mitchell leading the Democratic field in Maine by 20 points over her closest competitor. The poll confirms similar trends seen in independent polling from Kiley and Company in July and from the national political Web site the Daily Kos in September.
