Ben Winston is a Senior Associate at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, where he conducts strategic quantitative and qualitative research for political candidates, advocacy organizations, businesses, and ballot measures. A trained focus group moderator, Winston’s clients have included New Hampshire Senator Maggie Hassan, Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow, Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, and the University of Southern California / Los Angeles Times statewide poll.
Winston has also focused on campaign finance reform issues. In 2015, he worked on behalf of Honest Elections Seattle to introduce sweeping campaign finance reforms and a first-of-its-kind system of democracy vouchers in Seattle. In 2016 and 2017, Winston conducted polling and focus groups on campaign finance reform in nearly a dozen states, including the successful effort to pass the South Dakota Anti-Corruption Act.
Prior to joining GQR, Winston was the Research Director at The Feldman Group. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with majors in Political Science and Psychology and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Demography.
