Margaret Havemann has over ten years of experience as a strategic advisor and pollster to international campaigns, global leaders and governments, organizations, universities, and corporations. As a senior associate at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, she plays a key role in the firm’s international practice, specializing in advanced research methodologies in unique and challenging environments such as war-torn nations and remote islands. Margaret has led the firm’s research and consultation work in Iraq, Afghanistan, Estonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Georgia, the Bahamas, Canada, and the US . She has designed, conducted, and analyzed hundreds of focus groups and surveys, and has personally advised heads of state across the world.
Before joining GQR in 2008, Margaret worked with America Votes managing nine states’ communications hubs to help build a permanent progressive campaign infrastructure in America. She managed field efforts in Iowa and four other states for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign. Margaret graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan, where she earned a degree in political science. She has lived abroad in Belgium and Ireland and has a working knowledge of French.
