As Director of Analytics at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner, David Margolis leads a team of analysts who specialize in large survey data aggregation projects. With over four years of experience in the rapidly evolving field of ‘big data,’ Margolis has managed survey data collection across multiple modes and populations, instituted best practices for database quality control and data standardization, and provided innovative approaches to the analysis and the presentation of results. A specialist in quantitative analysis and strategic research in domestic politics, he is dedicated to making potentially complex numeric results interpretable and clear through graphics and interactive visualizations.
Before joining the firm in 2010, Margolis worked as a survey programmer for Lake Research Partners in Washington, D.C. During the 2008 election cycle, he served as Field Director for a congressional campaign in Southwest Ohio. He has co-authored two research reports on labor-related issues through the Center for American Progress. Margolis graduated cum laude from Duke University and has a Masters degree in Government from Harvard. He is currently eagerly awaiting a call back after his audition with the television quiz show Jeopardy!
