Ben Winston is a Senior Associate at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, where he conducts strategic quantitative and qualitative research for elected officials, political candidates, advocacy organizations, and ballot measures. A trained focus group moderator, Winston’s clients include Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Senator-elect Maggie Hassan, and the University of Southern California / Los Angeles Times statewide poll.
Additionally, Winston specializes in research on campaign finance reform. In 2015, he worked on behalf of Honest Elections Seattle to pass an initiative introducing sweeping campaign finance reforms and a first-of-its-kind system of democracy vouchers in Seattle, Washington. And in 2016, Winston conducted polling on campaign finance reform in nearly a dozen states, including the successful effort to pass the South Dakota Anti-Corruption Act.
Prior to joining GQR, Winston was the Research Director at The Feldman Group, where he helped provide research for the campaigns of Senators Tammy Baldwin (2012) and Al Franken (2014). He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with majors in Political Science and Psychology.
